Today a friend and I spoke about the occurrence we all experience from time to time. We had a dream during our sleep about an issue and the very next day someone on television, for example would talk about the same issue. We are thinking about a friend whom we had not seen for a long time and who would call us? (That very friend!) We can think of many other examples.
I tried to look for an apt definition online, but there are so many perspectives regarding “serendipity”, let us keep it as: a coincidental “confirmation” that what we were thinking of was affirmed by some unexpected outward source or manifestation. These serendipitous moments can fuel our joy and remind us that there are other like-minded people elsewhere. Let us be on the lookout for these mysterious surprises.
